... SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ALERT FOR HEAVY RAIN IN DEKALB... GWINNETT... FORSYTH AND FULTON COUNTIES UNTIL 130 PM EDT...

AT 1224 PM EDT... NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A STRONG THUNDERSTORM OVER ROSWELL... MOVING NORTHEAST AT 5 MPH.

THIS STORM HAS THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE PEA SIZE HAIL... FREQUENT CLOUD-TO-GROUND LIGHTNING AND WIND GUSTS TO 40 MPH. BRIEF HEAVY DOWNPOURS OF 2 TO 3 INCHES AN HOUR MAY CAUSE PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS. THIS STORM SHOULD COME TO AN END BY 130 PM EDT.

It never lasts long enough :( This has been the worst Georgia summer yet.. Usually in Georgia you could depend on it raining every day in the summer, and now this is like the first real rain storm of the summer... and who knows how long before the next ;(. I like the rain, it's peaceful.
