The protestors list "Four E's" they object to in Lieberman's record: Economy, Enron, Environment, and Education. John Halle, protestor: "[Lieberman] never saw a free trade agreement he didn't like, which has shipped a lot of Connecticut jobs overseas." Lieberman says he is taking a stand to distinguish himself from other Democrats in the running. But this group says Lieberman looks more like a Republican. The Green Party plans to put up their own candidates to run against Lieberman and all other presidential candidates. I found this in the News Section on the Green Party website. The idea behind a Democrat isn't bad, so it's not completely hopeless. We just need a different candidate, so hopefully he won't win his primaries.
