cuke15's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Videos/Concert sections of the DVD The concert portion of this DVD is pretty awesome, and they do rock live. It's not just one of those things where everyone says about their favorite band "and they have a bitchin' live show," the Gin Blossoms appear to actually do have a pretty bitchin' live show. The video portion of the DVD, though, some of those videos just make my heart hurt. To finally see a picture along with the music. Found Out About You, especially. The video for "Day Job" reminds me of Matchbox 20, though. Not the song, of course, but the video. That's sort of a turn off.. but not really, because the Gin Blossoms video came first. So Matchbox 20 was rippin' on them. This is my first time hearing "Day Job" to be honest. It's one of those songs where you hear the tempo and tone and drum beats, and you know there's going to be a bitching guitar solo later on, which is happening right now. I love songs like that. "Get Right" by Pearl Jam is another. It's more relative on Day Job, though, coz that's just a pounding song. What I'm trying to say: THIS DVD ROCKS!
